Milestones in a product life cycle: general availability (GA), end of life announcement (EOLA), last order date (LOD), and end-of-life (EOL)
End of life announcement (EOLA) is the beginning of the End-of-life cycle for a hardware / software product. The EOLA will precede the Last order date (LOD) by up to 90 days. Customers need to order before LOD if products/spares are needed. JEDEC standards specify End of life cycle of Product life cycle.
