Miehikkälä is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Kymenlaakso region. The municipality has a population of 1,865 (31 December 2020),[2] which make it the smallest municipality in Kymenlaakso in terms of population. It covers an area of 440.34 square kilometres (170.02 sq mi) of which 18.18 km2 (7.02 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 4.42 inhabitants per square kilometre (11.4/sq mi).
Neighbouring municipalities are Hamina, Kouvola, Lappeenranta, Luumäki and Virolahti.
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
